Sponsor: Peters Twp. Networking Group Eligibility: Peters Twp. High School senior planning to continue your education in business; marketing; or trade school. Unweighted GPA 3.3.

 

Prompt: As a future business leader, marketing will play a pivotal role in your success. To help you start your journey, we want to hear your creative and strategic ideas about the role of marketing in today’s world.

 

Please answer the following question in an essay of 500-750 words.  Must be typed:

 

"In a rapidly evolving business landscape, how can businesses use innovative marketing strategies to connect with the next generation of consumers? Use a real-life example or develop a hypothetical marketing campaign that could resonate with Gen Z or younger audiences. Explain why your campaign would be effective and how it aligns with current trends in consumer behavior."

 

In your response, make sure to include:

1. An overview of marketing strategies: What are some marketing trends that appeal to younger consumers? (For example, social media influence, personalized experiences, influencer marketing, etc.)

 

2. A creative campaign idea: Share your concept for a marketing campaign targeted at young consumers, including key platforms and strategies for engagement.

 

3. The reasoning behind your choices: Why do you think your marketing approach would be successful? What are the key factors in understanding and appealing to Gen Z or younger consumers?

• Proof of GPA. Scholarship Prize: The recipient will be awarded a $1000 scholarship to support their education in business or marketing.
